Job Title: Automotive Body Shop Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Body Shop Supervisor to join our team at MD Automotive Repairs.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 people, ensuring the efficient operation of the body shop, and maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of the work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of a team of technicians and support staff
  • Prepare and submit production reports and other relevant documentation
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet work schedules and deadlines
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Recommend personnel actions and participate in performance evaluations
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role in an automotive body shop
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and company policies
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced automotive body shop environment, with regular exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule is 40 hours per week, with regular overtime as required.
