Job Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Technologist to join our team at Associated Engineering. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical design and drafting, with a focus on computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software.

  • Education and Certification: Diploma in engineering technology from an accredited post-secondary institution and eligibility for professional registration with ASTTBC (CTech, AScT).
  • Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of progressive experience in CADD, with a focus on electrical systems design and drafting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with latest versions of AutoCAD and experience working with Revit/AutoCAD drawings for electrical systems, including layouts, schematics, details, and specifications.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Additional Requirements: Valid Driver's License and some experience with spreadsheets and other software tools for electrical design and sizing.
