Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Regional Sales Executive to manage a vital portfolio of clients in the Ottawa region. This role presents a significant opportunity for growth within our established customer base, primarily comprising hospitals. The Regional Sales Executive will be instrumental in delivering outstanding service to our clients while also exploring avenues for new business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expand business within current accounts.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the designated territory.
- Collaborate on the creation and implementation of customer account strategies that align with key performance indicators, including client retention, revenue enhancement, cost efficiency, and profitability.
- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor by thoroughly understanding client needs and aligning them with our solutions.
- Develop comprehensive account plans that detail contract terms, services provided, and other critical information.
- Manage projects and resolve issues to ensure positive outcomes for clients.
- Provide ongoing education to clinical staff regarding our products and services, emphasizing safety, sustainability, and compliance.
- Demonstrate product expertise across our full range of services.
- Act as a customer advocate within the organization, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, logistics, and finance.
- Support the implementation of new products or programs at client sites.
- Facilitate strategic customer meetings to share best practices and business results.
- Assist in conducting quarterly business reviews, including pre-work audits and stakeholder feedback collection to offer strategic recommendations.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience in sales and account management.
- Proven track record in new business development.
- Exceptional closing skills.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Experience in hospital services or related industries is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills with a focus on value-based selling.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer-based tools.
