Job Title: Companion/Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Companion/Caregiver to join our team at Compassion Home Care Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our clients.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to our clients, engaging in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
  • Assist with daily tasks and activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, to ensure our clients' independence and dignity.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • First Aid Certificate to ensure our clients' safety and well-being.
  • Certificate of Conduct to verify our clients' trust and confidence in our caregivers.
  • Criminal record check to ensure our clients' safety and security.
Work Environment:
  • Our work environment is non-smoking, ensuring a healthy and safe space for our clients and caregivers.
  • We work in our clients' homes, providing personalized care and support in a familiar and comfortable setting.
Physical Demands:
  • Our caregivers must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, performing tasks that require a combination of physical and mental effort.
  • Repetitive tasks, such as bathing and dressing, require our caregivers to be patient and understanding.
  • Our caregivers must be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) to assist with daily tasks and activities.
