Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 1919464 Ontario Limited. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation
- Quality Control and Assurance
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Administrative and Record-Keeping
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize supply chain efficiency
- Culinary Expertise
- Have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and menu offerings
- Supervise and check assembly of trays to ensure presentation and quality standards are met
- Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high pressure
- Combine sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential
- Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral communication and team player
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Permanent employment with 30 to 40 hours per week
- Language of work: English
