About the Role

MENON LAW PROFESSIONAL CORPORATION is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. As a Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our lawyers and staff in the day-to-day operations of the law office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our lawyers and staff, including preparing and editing documents, managing files, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders, ensuring timely and professional responses to inquiries and requests.
  • Organizational Skills: Utilize strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiently use Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint, to perform tasks and maintain records.
  • Client Service: Provide exceptional client service, ensuring that clients receive timely and professional support, and that their needs are met in a courteous and respectful manner.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a legal or administrative role.
  • Work Setting: General law practice, with a focus on property and real estate law.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
