We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Planning Officer to join our team at Excalibur Security Services Inc.

Job Summary:

The Planning Officer will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, establishing work priorities, and ensuring procedures are followed and deadlines are met. This role will also involve carrying out administrative activities, administering policies and procedures, and coordinating office services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure they are efficient and effective
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Carry out administrative activities, including data assembly and report preparation
  • Administer policies and procedures related to record release and government access to information and privacy legislation
  • Coordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, and maintenance
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures, including payroll administration and conflict resolution
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a planning or administrative role
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other administrative software
Working Conditions:

The Planning Officer will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule is 30 hours per week.
