Key Responsibilities- Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and repair of our facilities, including electrical and mechanical systems, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Contract Administration: Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Scheduling and Planning: Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to operations.
- Team Leadership: Direct the maintenance and repair of our facilities, overseeing a team of 11-15 staff members, and providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Financial Management: Plan and manage the facility's operations budget, ensuring effective use of resources and minimizing costs.
- Administrative Services: Plan, organize, and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security, and snow removal.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as facilities management or a related discipline.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in facilities management and team leadership.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, vendors, and clients. Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong organizational and time management skills. Physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Personal Qualities: Client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, organized, reliable, team player, dependable, flexible, initiative, and positive attitude.
- Work Schedule: 30 to 35 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts and respond to emergencies.
- Language: English (primary language of communication).
