About the Role

MCC Maintenance Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning services, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Lead and manage a team of light duty cleaners, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that our facilities meet our safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify areas where additional services are required, such as painting, repair work, or renovations, and recommend solutions to management.
  • Maintain Financial Records: Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including payment for specialized cleaning jobs.
  • Assist Cleaners: Provide support and guidance to cleaners as needed, ensuring that they have the necessary tools and resources to complete their tasks.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, and reliability.
