Job Summary:

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Mergers and Acquisitions Expert to support our client in post-merger integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in due diligence, financial analysis, and integration planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct financial due diligence on acquired companies, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for cost savings
  • Develop and implement financial integration plans, ensuring seamless transition of financial processes and systems
  • Review and advise on purchase and sale agreements, technical structures, and accounting matters
  • Monitor balance sheets and financial statements, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of acquired companies

Requirements:
  • CPA designation or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, financial due diligence, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
