Job Opportunity at Groves Memorial Community Hospital

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medicine department on a regular part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Develop and implement effective care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Participate in charge nurse responsibilities
Requirements:
  • Current College of Nurses certificate of competence
  • Current BCLS & ACLS certification
  • Ability to start IVs and administer IV medications
  • Defibrillation and cardiac pacing certification
  • Coronary Care Course or equivalent
  • CVADS and lead ECG experience preferred
  • Recent experience in medical nursing, including palliative care
  • Well-developed assessment skills
  • Commitment to ongoing education and performance development
Additional Qualifications:
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy environment

Working Conditions:
  • Must be available for all three shifts and weekends
  • Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment
Compensation:
