Radiologic Technologist (MRT(R))

Collingwood General & Marine Hospital (CGMH) is on the lookout for a committed Radiologic Technologist to enhance their team in delivering outstanding imaging services. This position requires the execution of high-quality imaging procedures while ensuring patient care and safety are at the forefront. The ideal applicant will have graduated from an accredited Radiography program and hold active membership in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited Radiography program
  • Active membership in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Embody and promote the values and objectives of CGMH
  • Adhere to the Policies and Procedures of the Diagnostic Imaging Department
  • Comply with Occupational Health and Safety regulations
  • Provide efficient and reliable service in Imaging
  • Execute technical procedures with proficiency and creativity
  • Review and document patient medical histories
  • Implement quality control measures and maintain equipment
  • Identify equipment malfunctions and report them promptly
  • Participate in organized educational events and fulfill continuing education requirements
  • Recognize and implement opportunities for positive change
  • Engage in competency assessment and professional development
