Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Boston Pizza Athabasca. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and direct the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to our staff, helping them to develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their roles.
- Estimate and Manage Inventory: Work with our inventory management team to estimate and manage our food and supply inventory, ensuring that we have the right products on hand to meet customer demand.
- Ensure Quality and Safety: Oversee the preparation and presentation of our food and beverages, ensuring that they meet our high standards for quality and safety.
- Manage Budget and Finances: Assist with the preparation of our restaurant's budget and financial reports, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
- Maintain Records and Reports: Maintain accurate records and reports of our restaurant's operations, including sales, inventory, and employee performance.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment with fast-paced and dynamic conditions.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet the physical demands of the role.
