About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Bricklayer Foreman/Supervisor to join our team at Rainforces Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of bricklayers and other construction staff
    • Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Project Management
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute construction projects from start to finish
    • Estimate costs and materials required for projects
    • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed on construction sites
    • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and take corrective action
  • Training and Development
    • Train or arrange for training of bricklayers and other construction staff
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve skills and knowledge
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with construction staff, management, and clients
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with team members and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in construction
  • Personal Qualities
    • Organized and reliable
    • Team player with excellent communication skills
Working Conditions
  • 35 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • English language required
