Job Title: Chef de Partie

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at IRISH TIMES PUB. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Develop and implement new recipes to enhance our menu offerings.
  • Lead and train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques.
  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen activities to ensure smooth service.
  • Prepare and cook meals to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Plan and execute menu development to meet customer preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff to achieve exceptional service standards.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
