Position Overview

As a Culinary Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily functions of our kitchen at Black Sheep Pub. This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 30 to 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work Schedule Management: Develop and implement effective methods to ensure timely completion of work schedules.
  • Staff Supervision: Lead and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to staff on their job responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Recruitment: Participate in the hiring process for food service personnel.
  • Budgeting: Prepare and manage budget forecasts and cost estimates.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and food wastage.
  • Order Preparation: Compile food order summaries for the chef.
  • Tray Assembly Oversight: Supervise and verify the assembly of food trays.
  • Work Schedule Establishment: Create and manage work schedules for kitchen staff.
