Senior Audio Visual Installation Specialist

Our client, a prominent audio-visual solutions provider, is in search of a Senior Audio Visual Installation Specialist. This role is pivotal in the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of commercial audio-visual systems across diverse client settings. As a senior position, it entails overseeing and mentoring a team of AV Technicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute audio-visual system installations for clients, which includes low voltage wiring, equipment setup, video displays, cameras, projection systems, media rooms, audio systems, and control systems.
  • Conduct cable pulls and perform crimping and termination of audio and video cables.
  • Assist in the structural installation of displays, screens, and projectors.
  • Troubleshoot and finalize testing of installed systems.
  • Provide on-the-job training and development for junior AV Technicians.
  • Lead and supervise teams of AV Technicians to ensure timely completion of installations.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting building plans and wiring schematics.
  • Capable of lifting heavy equipment, including large displays.
  • Able to work from ladders and scaffolding.
  • Familiar with computer and communication software.
  • Demonstrates efficiency under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the audio-visual field.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Crestron and Biamp troubleshooting and code uploads.
  • CTS certification is a plus.
  • Safety certifications such as First Aid, H2S, Elevated Work Platform, and CSTS are advantageous.
  • Certifications from audio, video conferencing, or control equipment manufacturers are beneficial.
