About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Repairer to join our team at Can Art Aluminum Extrusion Canada Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our aluminum extrusions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify Machined Parts: Use precision measuring instruments to verify machined parts for conformance to specifications.
  • Machine Castings: Realize machine castings to make metal molds, core boxes, and precisely shaped models.
  • Lay Out and Assemble Patterns: Lay out, shape, and assemble patterns of metal, wood, plastic, and other materials from blueprints, models, or templates.
  • Position and Secure Metal Stock: Position, secure, measure, and work metal stock or castings to lay out for machining.
  • Tool and Die Fabrication Experience: Possess experience in extrusion dies and other tool and die fabrication techniques.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, requiring manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate accuracy, flexibility, and organizational skills.
  • Experience: Possess at least 5 years of experience in a related field.
