About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Repairer to join our team at Can Art Aluminum Extrusion Canada Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our aluminum extrusions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify Machined Parts: Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify machined parts for conformance to specifications.
  • Machine Castings: Realize machine castings to create metal molds, core boxes, and precisely shaped models.
  • Lay Out and Assemble Patterns: Lay out, shape, and assemble patterns of metal, wood, plastic, and other materials from blueprints, models, or templates.
  • Position and Secure Metal Stock: Position, secure, measure, and work metal stock or castings to lay out for machining.
Tool and Die Fabrication Experience
  • Extrusion Dies: Gain experience in the fabrication of extrusion dies.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of productivity.
  • Manual Dexterity: Possess manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in your work.
  • Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods and be able to lift and move heavy objects.
