About the Role

The Guest Experience team at Explore Edmonton Corporation plays a vital role in ensuring that customers have a positive and memorable experience during events at our venues. As a key member of this team, the Manager, Guest Experience will be responsible for delivering and managing all aspects of the guest experience team, including event staff and parking lot operations.

This role requires strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with multiple departments throughout the organization. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing teams, driving productivity, and facilitating operational efficiencies.

The Manager, Guest Experience will be responsible for building and maintaining a highly engaged and productive team that delivers exceptional customer service. This includes developing and facilitating training programs, service recovery processes, and hospitality initiatives for the venue.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5-10 years of experience in a customer service-focused environment
  • 5 years of supervisory or management experience
  • Exceptional organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and quick decision-making skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to work in various areas, including indoors and outdoors in different climates
