About Barminco:
Barminco is a key member of the Perenti Group, a globally recognized mining services organization. As one of the largest underground mining companies specializing in hard-rock operations, Barminco provides a platform for career advancement across various mining sectors worldwide.

Position Overview:
Barminco Mine Services Canada Ltd. is currently seeking dedicated Service Crew miners to support our underground operations.

Work Schedule:
• 14 days on, 14 days off rotation
• 12-hour shifts, alternating between day and night

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidates will report to the Shift Supervisor and will be tasked with ensuring their own safety and that of their colleagues while performing essential maintenance and installation of mine services infrastructure and equipment. Specific duties include:
• Extending water and air services, including underground infrastructure projects
• Relocating and installing secondary ventilation fans
• Constructing vent walls and brattices (partitions)
• Installing cable bolts and grouting according to specifications
• Moving and setting up pumps, pump-lines, leaky feeders, and firing lines
• Conducting repairs on services and equipment within their capabilities, such as vent bags, poly pipes, and valves
• Demonstrating a willingness to learn new techniques and share knowledge with peers

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Proven commitment to safety practices
• Minimum of 2 years of underground work experience
• Ontario Underground Common Core certification is essential
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Physically fit, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs safely
• Flexibility to assist with various tasks as needed
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tasks
• Experience working in a diverse cultural environment
