Are you looking for a challenging role in underground mining? Perenti Group, a leading global mining services company, has an exciting opportunity for experienced underground miners to join our Paste Crew at the Hemlo Operations in Marathon, ON.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused individual to join our team as a Paste Crew Miner. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and monitoring pasting operations underground.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all safety and standard operating procedures
  • Install paste, water, air, and pump pipes
  • Install paste bulk-heads, pumps, reticulation
  • Check dump valves
  • Inspect pipe network for leaks and damage
  • Assist Service crew with ventilation duct installation
  • Operate various service and auxiliary equipment underground

Requirements:

  • 3 years' experience in Paste or Service Crews in underground mining
  • Ontario Hard Rock Mining Common Core
  • Ability to prioritize and problem solve
  • Must be reactive in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to assist other crew members while being able to work independently
  • Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment
