The Opportunity:

We are seeking highly skilled and safety-focused individuals to join our Service Crew team. As a Service Crew miner, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining mine services infrastructure and equipment, including extending water and air services, moving and installing secondary ventilation fans, and erecting vent walls and brattices.

Responsibilities:

  • Extend water and air services, including underground infrastructure works
  • Move and install secondary ventilation fans
  • Erect vent walls and brattices
  • Manually install cable bolts and grouting to specifications
  • Move and install pumps, pump-lines, leaky feeders, and firing lines
  • Repair services and equipment within capabilities

Requirements:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalency
  • Demonstrated commitment to working safely while ensuring the safety of others
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working underground
  • Ontario Underground Common Core certification
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Strong communications skills, verbal and written
  • Must be physically fit with ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs
