About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Metal Fitting Supervisor to join our team at SAT Metal Fabrication Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the fabrication and installation of metal structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate and Manage Resources: Ensure accurate estimates of costs and materials required for projects.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Provide training and development opportunities to ensure team members have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Coordinate and Schedule Activities: Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Supervise Workers and Projects: Supervise a team of 5-10 workers and oversee the completion of projects.
  • Requisition and Order Materials: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Noisy work site environment.
  • Work Setting: Assembly, construction, fabrication, installation, and shopwork.
  • Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
