Our advanced methods help clients avoid the significant costs and disruptions associated with traditional excavation techniques.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver technical guidance and project management expertise for planning, designing, and executing rehabilitation and inspection projects.
  • Evaluate project estimates for accuracy and feasibility.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine traffic management needs and work shift requirements.
  • Document findings from site evaluations in the project management system.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to address any field issues that may impact project timelines.
  • Identify and communicate safety concerns to the Project Manager, General Superintendent, and Safety Manager.
  • Participate in pre-bid, pre-construction, and project update meetings with clients as necessary.
  • Facilitate the application process for relevant permits.
  • Support field teams in notifying residents about upcoming work, when required.
  • Ensure that construction activities are organized and well-coordinated.
  • Arrange necessary traffic control measures for work sites.
  • Prepare comprehensive work packages for field crews.
  • Review preparatory and final videos for potential issues and update the project management system accordingly.
  • Foster strong working relationships with field leadership and crew members at job sites.
  • Communicate effectively with Regional Managers, Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and other field personnel regarding project details, changes, and challenges.
  • Act as a liaison between field operations and the office.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and crew efficiency.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to uphold a positive company reputation and ensure client satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Project Management Certification, Diploma in Construction Management, Engineering Degree, or Technical Diploma from an accredited institution.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in field construction management.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
  • Availability to be on-site for 50% of the work schedule.
  • Experience in water/sewer or municipal projects is advantageous.
  • Proficient in planning, scheduling, and assigning tasks to crews, including training and communication updates.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases; experience with Microsoft Project and JD Edwards is a plus.
  • Ability to generate reports, perform calculations, maintain records, and complete administrative tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills with the capability to deliver presentations.
