Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Unit Support Worker to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional support to patients, families, and staff in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional and practical support to patients and families
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Transport patients and their belongings to various locations within the hospital
  • Complete patient documentation and reports as required
  • Participate in patient care planning and implementation
Requirements
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • One year of recent experience in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the job
