Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Dengarry Professional Services Ltd. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals with intellectual, learning, mental health, and physical disabilities.

Job Summary:

The Support Worker will work in a group home setting, providing assistance with daily living activities, household chores, and personal care. You will also be responsible for accompanying clients to appointments and social outings, and assisting with special needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and care to individuals with intellectual, learning, mental health, and physical disabilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Help with household chores, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social outings
  • Assist with special needs, such as feeding and medication management
  • Implement behavior management programs and provide crisis intervention
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Mandt System training
Working Conditions:

The Support Worker will work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing high-quality care and support to clients. You will be required to work under pressure and make sound judgments in emergency situations.
