About the Role

Interior Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the organization's strategic objectives and business drivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Employee and Labour Relations Perspective: Provide expert advice and guidance on innovative and cost-effective business and workforce optimization strategies and plans for assigned client portfolios.
  • Change Agent: Act as a catalyst for change, driving business and workforce optimization initiatives that support organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Talent Development and Acquisition: Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement workforce planning, recruitment, staffing, and succession planning strategies that support business objectives.
  • Client Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with leadership and stakeholders to support decision-making and drive business outcomes.
  • Reporting and Communication: Produce high-quality reports and correspondence to support business decision-making and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: An undergraduate degree in Human Resources or a related field, combined with a minimum of five years of recent experience in HR, preferably in a unionized environment.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical and evaluative skills, ability to think strategically and innovatively, and excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
