Job Summary:

The Hospitality Associate will provide exceptional patient care and support services in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order and stock housekeeping supplies and equipment
  • Distribute and store supplies and equipment in designated areas
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies
  • Transport patients and equipment within the hospital
  • Deliver and set up patient meal trays
  • Collect soiled trays and place them in meal carts
  • Distribute patient nourishments
  • Clean patient rooms, lounges, offices, and common areas
  • Clean utility rooms, pantries, corridors, and nurses' stations
  • Empty garbage and sanitize garbage containers
  • Maintain floors through dry mopping, wet mopping, and buffing
  • Strip and make unoccupied beds and stretchers
  • Use chemicals and cleaning agents
  • Maintain open and timely communication with team members and management staff

Requirements:

  • Minimum Grade 12 education and/or equivalent in support services role
  • Ability to communicate with patients and co-workers
  • Ability to read and write and follow instructions
  • Physical ability to complete job duties
  • Ability to work all shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
  • Positive work and attendance record
