Bourgault Industries is seeking a dedicated Production Team Lead within our Freeform Plastics division.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to guide and mentor a team of skilled professionals, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional leadership by coaching, training, counseling, and motivating your team members.
  • Offer clear direction and guidance to your production team, encompassing planning, organization, and effective team leadership.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve daily departmental goals and contribute to overall production success.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to foster open communication and individual growth.
  • Promote a culture of safety by guiding team members on safe work practices and promptly addressing any major safety concerns with the Team Leader.
  • Effectively assign tasks to team members, taking into account their unique skills and abilities.
  • Ensure the availability of necessary materials, tooling, and equipment for seamless production workflows.
  • Work closely with your team to adhere to established standard work methods and contribute to the development of new procedures.
  • Provide comprehensive training to team members on all required processes and procedures.
  • Actively participate in hands-on production duties when time permits, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and operational efficiency.
  • Assist the Team Leader in planning for future production requirements to ensure smooth operations and meet evolving demands.
