Production Team Leader

Bourgault Industries is seeking a Tier IV Production Supervisor to lead our production team.
This position is exclusively available for current Bourgault Team Members.
Objective:
Inspire and guide the team towards achieving success through effective coaching, training, and motivation. Offer daily guidance and direction to the production team, focusing on planning, organization, and leadership. Support the team in meeting departmental objectives consistently.Key Responsibilities :
Provide leadership and conduct one-on-one meetings with team members. Ensure team members adhere to safety protocols and communicate significant safety issues to the VSL. Delegate tasks to team members based on their individual strengths and capabilities. Organize workflow by ensuring all necessary materials, tools, and equipment are readily available. Collaborate with team members to implement proper standard work methods. Contribute to the development of standard work procedures. Train team members on all essential processes. Engage in hands-on tasks when time allows. Assist the VSL in planning for upcoming production needs. Availability for shift work is required.Required Qualifications :
Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities. A background in machining or coating is advantageous. Strong organizational skills. Knowledge of equipment and processes. A customer and employee-oriented mindset. Proficient computer skills. Prospective Supervisor training is beneficial but not mandatory.
