Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at IGA Alimentation C. Verreault. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating the cash register, and maintaining a tidy workspace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently
  • Assist customers with their purchases and provide a positive shopping experience
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cash wrap and surrounding areas
  • Handle customer transactions, including processing payments and making change
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a retail or food service environment is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
