Job Title: Assistant Hotel Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Hotel Manager to join our team at HI Port Hawkesbury. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient hotel operations, including front desk duties, room assignments, and guest services.
  • Staff Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of staff to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of quality.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, address guest complaints, and ensure that all guests have a positive experience.
  • Event Management: Coordinate and manage events, including weddings, conferences, and other functions, to ensure seamless execution and high guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a hotel or hospitality management role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
