This role involves assessing the necessity for urgent renovations, carpentry tasks, plumbing, electrical work, and other maintenance activities as required.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide maintenance personnel and contractors engaged in facility operations.
- Ensure ongoing preventive maintenance and management of the facility, including buildings, systems, safety equipment, and medical apparatus.
- Authorize and supervise all essential repairs, maintain detailed records, and generate necessary reports.
- Evaluate maintenance tasks for quality assurance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain a tidy and secure workspace.
- Confirm daily logs of refrigeration temperatures.
- Monitor daily water temperature tests and logs within the facility.
- Adhere to budgetary constraints concerning supplies and services, following appropriate procurement procedures.
- Comply with organizational policies and protocols.
- Serve as the chairperson for the Safety Committee.
- Uphold the standards outlined in FutureCare's Corporate Ethics Statement and Compliance Plan.
- Ensure adherence to state and federal regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory maintenance role.
- Comprehensive understanding of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, roofing, and landscaping.
- Familiarity with supervisory principles, organizational management, and administrative processes.
- Ability to exercise significant independent judgment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating tact and courtesy in interactions with staff, contractors, and the public.
