Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee and guide maintenance personnel and contractors engaged in facility operations.
  2. Ensure ongoing preventive maintenance and management of the facility, including buildings, systems, safety equipment, and medical apparatus.
  3. Authorize and supervise all essential repairs, maintain detailed records, and generate necessary reports.
  4. Evaluate maintenance tasks for quality assurance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  5. Maintain a tidy and secure workspace.
  6. Confirm daily logs of refrigeration temperatures.
  7. Monitor daily water temperature tests and logs within the facility.
  8. Adhere to budgetary constraints concerning supplies and services, following appropriate procurement procedures.
  9. Comply with organizational policies and protocols.
  10. Serve as the chairperson for the Safety Committee.
  11. Uphold the standards outlined in FutureCare's Corporate Ethics Statement and Compliance Plan.
  12. Ensure adherence to state and federal regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory maintenance role.
  3. Comprehensive understanding of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, roofing, and landscaping.
  4. Familiarity with supervisory principles, organizational management, and administrative processes.
  5. Ability to exercise significant independent judgment.
  6. Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating tact and courtesy in interactions with staff, contractors, and the public.
