Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Westend Grocery Tempo. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash wrap and surrounding areas
  • Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail experience an asset
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
