Lead Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Remotivate LLC. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our digital backbone, ensuring seamless operations and high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the entire company infrastructure, including database management and server administration.
  • Ensure optimization, performance, and data integrity across all systems.
  • Maintain and monitor the website's uptime, ensuring smooth and continuous operation.
  • Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect data and systems.
  • Continuously improve infrastructure reliability and efficiency through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
Requirements:
  1. Excellent English and French written and verbal communication skills.
  2. 5-10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable infrastructure solutions, including cloud environments.
  3. Expertise in server infrastructure, with experience in Google Cloud Platform or AWS.
  4. Security expertise, with a deep understanding of security best practices and implementation.
  5. Proficiency in PostgreSQL, with expertise in optimizing and understanding the intricate details and underlying layers of the database.
  6. Fluency in TypeScript, with experience in working with the language.
  7. Code quality, with a strong focus on maintainability, scalability, and readability.
  8. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience, with a preference for Pulumi.
Bonus Skills:
  • Knowledge of React and React Native is a plus.
