At Interior Health Authority, our Recreation Therapy Department is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. We are a team of professionals committed to delivering high-quality services that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Your Role:
As a Recreation Therapy Worker, you will be an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, working collaboratively to implement our established Recreation Therapy Program. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting individual and group leisure/recreation therapy programs, such as arts, cultural events, crafts, sports, music, cooking, gardening, and exercises.
- Organizing program spaces and equipment to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for residents.
- Accompanying residents on outings and ensuring their participation and comfort.
