Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Michael Page International Canada Limited. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for executing troubleshooting and repair services on company equipment, as well as performing preventive maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute troubleshooting and repair services on company equipment, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Utilize company software to track service calls, generate reports, and document installation activities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, interacting professionally and clearly with clients to address their needs and concerns.
  • Offer technical support to customers via phone, as well as conduct training sessions when required.
  • Collaborate with other Field Engineers as directed, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Educational background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial machinery.
  • Experience with Fiber Laser Systems/CNC Hydraulic press brakes is an asset.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and programming of PLCs.
  • Siemens controllers user skills.
  • CAD/CAD software user skills.
  • Valid Driver's License Full G category.
  • Ability to travel nationally.
