Overview

Reporting to the Service Manager, this role involves working in a dynamic team environment to maintain, repair, and service mining equipment at customer sites.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive maintenance, repair, service, and inspection of mining equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, HVAC, electrical systems, with hydraulic experience being a valuable asset.
  • Effectively adjust, repair, or replace defective equipment parts, components, or systems at customer locations.
  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure repaired equipment functions properly.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
  • Journeyperson Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (HDET) or Millwright certification, including Red Seal endorsement.
  • 4-7 years of proven experience in mining, construction, or dealership settings.
  • Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals related to manufacturer specifications and warranty requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems.
  • Ability to access various mine sites without restrictions.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
