Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Lifemark Health Group. As a Trauma Recovery Specialist, you will play a critical role in the Traumatic Psychological Injury (TPI) Program, providing high-quality individual and group psychotherapy to clients with work-related injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based trauma-focused therapy to clients with anxiety disorders, traumatic stress, mood disorders, somatoform conditions, and adjustment-related disorders.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and kinesiologists, to provide comprehensive care to clients.
  • Conduct psychological assessments and develop treatment plans to promote client readiness for work.
  • Provide various evidence-based treatments grounded in cognitive-behavioral approaches.
  • Work closely with EMS and Police Reintegration teams in the community to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited university.
  • Current registration in good standing with the provincial College of Psychologists – competency with adult populations; clinical/counselling (asset: trauma, counselling psychology, health/rehabilitation psychology).
  • Individual professional liability insurance required at time of employment.
  • Experience with evidence-based trauma-focused therapy (i.e., PE, CPT, EMDR) is required.
  • Experience with chronic pain and occupational rehab is an asset.

  • Able to work both autonomously and as part of interdisciplinary teams.
  • Efficient with required clinical documentation.
  • Able to manage a diverse caseload within a dynamic work setting.
  • Demonstrated work ethics, integrity, reliability, maturity, and flexibility.
