Cloud Reliability Engineer

CB Canada is seeking a dedicated Cloud Reliability Engineer to enhance our operations.

Role Overview

As a Cloud Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of our cloud-based services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Utilizing Azure Cloud technologies
  • Managing project documentation with Jira and Confluence
  • Implementing CI/CD practices
  • Automating processes related to provisioning, configuration management, and deployment of Azure PaaS solutions, including Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Databricks.
  • Designing and constructing modern data pipelines and service APIs to facilitate data migration from on-premise SQL databases to Azure SQL databases and from on-premise Hadoop to Azure Data Lake.
  • Establishing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Essential Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in release management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in deploying applications using Node.js, Java, and React.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
