Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator - Shipping Specialist to join our team at Salit Steel. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the shipping and logistics of our products, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shipping Coordination
    • Determine the most efficient method of shipment to meet customer requirements
    • Schedule the distribution of goods to ensure timely delivery
  • Document Preparation
    • Prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents
  • Inventory Management
    • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, record-keeping, and scheduling
Requirements
  • Education
    • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a shipping or logistics role
