The Culinary Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities within a food service establishment, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry
Work Environment

This role is situated in a fast-paced food service setting, requiring adaptability and a strong team-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports as needed
  • Compile food order summaries for the chef
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff
Supervisory Responsibilities

The supervisor will oversee a team of 3-4 individuals, including:

  • Cooks (general)
  • Food and beverage servers
  • Kitchen and food service assistants
Work Conditions
