Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, and establish work schedules for the food service staff.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, withstanding noise and heat.
- Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, walking, and attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, team player, and ability to work under pressure.
