Culinary Preparation Specialist

The Culinary Preparation Specialist plays a vital role in the kitchen by preparing and portioning food items to fulfill production needs while adhering to Aramark's sanitation protocols. This position requires efficient and effective meal preparation utilizing daily worksheets and standardized recipes.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare all food items according to prep lists and established Aramark recipes.
- Adhere to proper food handling practices.
- Ensure accurate rotation of food items to maintain quality and freshness.
- Properly manage leftover food in accordance with Aramark standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in refrigerators and workspaces.
- Ensure all stations are cleaned, sanitized, and organized at the end of each shift.
- Uphold a safe and sanitary work environment that meets food safety regulations.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures for reporting accidents.
- Complete all necessary training programs.
- Preferred minimum of one year of experience in food preparation or service.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, knife skills, temperature management, and sanitation practices is advantageous.
- Ability to read and write effectively for communication purposes.
- Basic math and counting skills are essential.
This role may involve physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and prolonged standing, and it requires the use of uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
