About the Role

Flynn Canada Ltd. is seeking an Apprentice Glass Installer to join our team. As an Apprentice Glass Installer, you will assist experienced glaziers in the installation and repair of glass products in various commercial and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each project
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to precise specifications
  • Position and secure panes in frames, ensuring a safe and secure fit
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Install door, window, and other hardware, ensuring proper alignment and function
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures, using specialized equipment and techniques
  • Assist in the assembly, erection, and dismantling of scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as glass installation or construction
  • Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
