Flynn Canada Ltd. is seeking a skilled Apprentice Glass Technician to join our team. As an Apprentice Glass Technician, you will assist in the installation and repair of glass products in various commercial and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Glass Requirements

Measure, mark, and cut glass to meet specific project needs.

Assemble and Install Glass Products

Position and secure panes in frames, assemble prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products, and install door, window, and other hardware.

Repair Glass Structures

Repair glass doors and other glass structures, and assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment.

Operate Glass Cutting Equipment

Use computerized cutters and manually cut glass plates for straight cuts.

Work Environment

As an Apprentice Glass Technician, you will work at heights, outdoors, and in various locations, including commercial and industrial settings. You will be required to handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling.
