Job Title: Inventory Control Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team at 9932186 CANADA LTD. in a permanent role.

Job Summary:

The Inventory Control Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and managing the inventory control process, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth inventory management.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to ensure equipment and facilities are in good working order.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Recruit and hire staff to support inventory management operations.
  • Train workers in duties and policies to ensure a high level of competence and productivity.
  • Arrange training for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure efficient use of resources and meet deadlines.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to support inventory management operations.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate and efficient inventory management.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure smooth inventory management.
Requirements:
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a warehouse environment.
