Your Role

We are expanding Our CFO and Controller Services division is in search of a qualified full-time permanent Controller with a recognized accounting designation to enhance our team. A remote work arrangement is available for candidates located within specific provinces.

The ideal candidate will exhibit robust technical and analytical abilities, along with a natural aptitude for producing precise and timely financial reports. They will be dependable and uphold the highest standards of integrity, fostering trust with clients. The CFO and Controller Services division offers top-tier, in-house finance and accounting solutions to clients across various industries. We deliver a comprehensive range of financial services, including third-party recruitment for finance and accounting positions, outsourcing of accounting and finance functions (CFO, Controller, and Bookkeeper services), and business advisory support.

As a Controller for our clients, your responsibilities will include:

Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Preparing period-end financial reports and working papers for assigned clients. Financial oversight and management. Ensuring the integrity of the accounting system and its inputs. Understanding, implementing, and monitoring a robust control environment. Managing client relationships. Supervising and mentoring accounting teams. Performing ad hoc tasks as required.

Your Qualifications and Experience

Required accounting designation. 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience. Previous experience as a controller or in advisory roles is advantageous. Experience in an accounting firm is beneficial. Advanced knowledge of accounting systems is a plus. Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Willingness to travel to client locations.
