Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement an overarching EDI and Anti-Racism framework to advance equity-led initiatives
- Lead innovative initiatives, develop educational curriculum, and address systemic barriers to promote equity and inclusion
- Collaborate with VCH Indigenous Health to address systemic racism and disparities within healthcare
- Advise on equity and human rights issues, promoting inclusive spaces for everyone
- Masters' Degree in Indigenous Studies, Equity, Inclusion and Diversity, or a related discipline
- 15 years of leadership experience in developing and implementing organizational strategic initiatives to advance equity, diversity, and inclusion
- Strong understanding of anti-racism principles, health care disparities, and cultural competence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
